Another thing to consider adding alongside the Epsom salts is 2-3 teaspoons of ginger root powder.
It is an anti inflammatory and is also absorbed through the skin

The best temperature to have the bath water is just above body temperature - best for absorbing the magnesium and allows you to lie in longer without increasing your heart rate to deal with overly hot water and preventing you relaxing

I always have just before bedtime as it helps promote a deeper sleep

Gentle hugs xx

I add about 1 1/2 cups of epson salt to warm water and add some lavender and frankincense oil to it (you don't have to). I do this at night for about 30 minutes to 1 hour 3-4 days per week. I think the biggest trick is to try to relax. I noticed a difference after the first two baths. Specially with my muscle spasms. I also use the TENS therapy unit with the heating pad. Stretch exercises are important as well. Diet too, some foods may aggravate pain and drink lots of water.

I use 1.5 cups because I use it very often sometimes 7 days per week, I don't want to dry up my skin. If you do it less times then 2 cups.

Wow that's amazing I found this post. I've been thinking about trying an Epsom salt bath wondering if it would help. Then bam here's my answer. I love how God works. He is truly so amazing. I live how He orchestrates and composes those that we cross paths with. Thank you i will be trying this. God bless you.
