The bottom of my feet hurt constantly. It feels like I have been walking on them all day long, even when I've been sitting for a long period. Any suggestions for relief?

Members experiencing constant pain in the bottoms of their feet shared a wide range of potential causes, including fibromyalgia nerve pain, plantar fasciitis, herniated discs, peripheral neuropathy, poor circulation, and diabetic neuropathy, with many noting the pain feels especially sharp in the morning or like walking on nails. Several members recommended practical relief strategies such as custom orthotics or supportive shoes like Birkenstocks, rolling feet on tennis balls or frozen water bottles, soaking in hot water with Epsom salt, massaging with essential oils like frankincense and lavender, and medications including Neurontin, Tramadol, or gabapentin for nerve-related discomfort. A recurring theme was the trial-and-error nature of finding what works, with members exchanging mixed reviews on fibro creams from Walgreens and CVS, emphasizing the importance of rest, hydration, stretching exercises, and simply supporting one another through the daily challenge of managing chronic foot pain.

My feet feel that way slot too and yes it feels better when I massage them or just soaking in hot water & sea salt. Also try adding shoe pads to ur shoes they help to but I've recently been wearing shoes with foam in them....they feel soooo good !

@AngelaDobbins- I rub a few drops of Frankincense diluted with fractionated coconut on the bottoms of my feet daily and I use a blend called Deep Blue on my sore muscles.

It could be related to diabetic neuropathy. I had a doctor tell me this about 5 years before I was diagnosed diabetic. I thought he was nuts. But it is true.
