I have common variable immunodeficiency disorder (CVID) - body doesn't make antibodies and so I have no resistance to illnesses. I get a treatment of gamma globulin each week and it works. A blood test plus medical history was used to diagnose this rare disease. You should see an immunologist who will know what kind of testing you need. If this is the case, I warn you it takes a while for the treatments to work, but it does have an immediate effect on severity of illnesses. Since I started 15 years ago, number of infections and viruses has dropped about 75%. An immunologist diagnoses me. Good luck.

The blood test is called FM/a. This is for fibromyalgia.

There is no such thing as a blood test for fibromyalgia. They check some pressure points in the body to verify if you have it. I have both, fibro and RA and they do what is called an ANA test to check inflammation levels along with a sedimentation rate test. If these turn out positive, then they will ask you to do more specific tests.

Here is a website that may help you. You will find that you will have to be more direct with the question. http://primaryimmune.org/about-primary-immunode...

Your doctor can also test the white cell count to measure the level of cortisol. This is important because cortisol makes heart attacks, strengthen cancer, and other illness like Lupus.
