Members connected over the frustrating overlap of sinus issues and fibromyalgia symptoms, with many sharing that chronic sinus problems have been a lifelong struggle that worsened around the time of their diagnosis. Several members described their go-to relief strategies, including daily antihistamines like Benadryl, saline nasal sprays, warm compresses, and steam inhalation, while others noted that Gabapentin helped reduce muscle spasms and pain but came with the unwelcome side effect of significant weight gain. A recurring theme was the mysterious connection between fibromyalgia and sinus inflammation, with members finding solidarity in symptoms that doctors often struggle to fully explain or treat.

I'm also on Gabapentin and I've also gained weight about 30 lbs. I've been on it for about 5 yrs.

@A MyFibroTeam Member. I use a saline spray (Ayr). Or put my face over a boiling pot of water. It helps me.
