Why Is My Rheumatologist Sending Me For A Electrophysiological Study?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

he has sent me a letter say that because my CK muscle enzymes are still raised he is sending me for a Electrophysiological study and a muscle biopsy to be honest I am more than a little scared as I have heart failure and don't like the idea of my heart being messed with why does he need to do this?

no I haven't had an EKG for a while, my heart failure is doing fine since I had cardio-version for AF about 8 years ago, I keep on taking my meds so thats been fine. My muscle pain is followed by extreme weakness and I thought that was to do with my fibro not my heart?
