With the fatigue and pain I can barely make it some days. On those days all I can do is lay in bed and moan. I contacted a disability lawyer and was told I would never get disability for having fibro. This disease is not a joke; why are professionals acting as if it is? I believe this is how my manager feels also.

I got SSD for it, but it's not listed as fibromyalgia. Mine issues with fibromyalgia are all listed individually as if they have nothing to do with one another. I had to contact a SS attorney before it was approved. Went before a judge before it was granted. Don't give up, that's what they want you to do.
Prayers for you too Tenisa !
Thanks Lolita, and my prayers are with you.
I am in the process of trying to get disability. Most days I do not function well either from tiredness and pain. I am also bipolar. It has been 5 weeks since I filed. I did my interview over the phone. Got all my doctors reports in. They said this week I may have to see one of their doctors. I am okay with that. So it can take up to 6 months to get approved or denied. So hopefully I will not need to get an attorney. You know this is so hard to even get to the point where you have to even file. I'd rather work but I know I am to the point where I need to help myself and my family. And this is a way to help. Humiliating for me because I'd rather give than get. Final note. Go ahead and start your disability claim.
Best thing to do is start the process because it takes a long time. Keep a journal and be sure your doctors are documenting your visits properly. The more detailed you are the better your hearing will go. You can file right on line and turn it over to an atty when you're ready or feel they would be beneficial.
