I have had the same doctor for 35 years, and she has become more then just my doctor but my friend. My wife is my best friend but like the rest of my family they do not understand how a person who looks healthy can be sick. I have worked threw my illness so I guess they see me doing ok in there eyes. I am new to this list and I think it will help people like us who can learn from others. good luck and God Bless

I'm not sure what your drug situation is. If u have a history it does make it harder. There r places and Dr's out there that can help u control your pain meds. As for family we are here. Family doesn't doesn't have to be related. So I will help as much as possible and I'm sure there r others that will be supportive.

There is a GREAT Fibro group on FB called Fibro Colors Fibromyalgia Awareness. And, get rid of that doctor!
