Hi ,yes I am taking this and have been on it for several years now. It is an immune system suppressant ,it is used in rheumatoid arthritis where your own body attacks its self.I am not diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.I have been given the diagnosis of early onset osteo arthritis , Sero negative arthritis,fibromyalgia.Because I see a benefit in my symptoms I have been allowed to continue to take it.

It depends, did they tell you why its being prescribed? its used in inflammatory bowel diseases like ibs and crohns as well as inflammatory arthritis RA
