I have seen others comment on their weight gain, and was just wondering which med caused it for everyone? I have gained about 40 lbs and am wondering if it is my Cymbalta or Lyrica? I eat well and try to exercise. Just wondering what everyone else has taken, what you gained, and if you stopped taking it, did you lose weight again?

I was taken off of Cymbalta and put on another anti-depressant that didn't cause me to be as angry but the Doctor push up my Lryica. I have notice that it has been easy to loose weight but not by much most the weight you gain is due to Fibro and meds. I do low impact exercises to help with my mobility but there are days I don't feel like exercising because it still hurts.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I was on night shift and working Security in a very large Resort. I transferred to days and to Lobby Ambassador. By doctors order. Now getting right kind of sleep and a hold lot less stress.
Also, join Weight Watchers, also doctor order, and quit drinking Mtn Dews. , cut down sweets. I am loosing about 1 pound a week. Slow, but very happy since I have not been able to lose weight for years. Started in December, weight about 210, down to 189 now. Just hope I can keep it up.
@A MyFibroTeam Member Can I ask what they switched you to that you were able to lose the weight? After 3 years on Cymbalta I think it is time for a change.
i'm not on any meds and gained weight :( I think it's partially a side affect of the disease due to the fatigue & pain.
Yes I agree, due to the inactivity I would expect a bit of weight gain.
