Denton, TX

I have been told by my primary doctor, my back doctor and my neurologist that I have "very brisk reflexes" when they tap my knee with a rubber hammer.

Has anyone else been told this?

I was told it meant my nerves we're very sensitive, which could explain all my pain and this fibromyalgia.

Thanks,

Regina

Yes, it's true We that suffer with fibromyalgia, our pain threshold can be ultra sensitive. I know mine is lately.. Bad flare up for awhile now, not happy camper! My sleep pattern is off as of late, and brain fog city.. This fibromyalgia is hereditary in my family sinse the 1980's. I have had a lot of trauma to my body.. Including surgery's. At 55 yrs. old waiting for the golden years😉 God Bless everyone suffering🙏🌷

That's really interesting. Last time they did the rubber hammer to test my reflexes they had trouble getting any reflex at all. Does that mean I died and someone forgot to tell me? (:

Soon after I was first told, well actually I read it , that I had fibro, a specialist Also said I had hyper reflexes on the left side which is al do my most painful and sensitive side. I Do believe the nerves play tricks on us and it's different in many of us. SMC, that was so funny. Needed a smile.this.morning.
