Some of you who kindly answered some of my previous questions mentioned that you avoided certain foods and drinks.

Does anyone else eliminate particular foods/drinks and finds that it makes a difference?x

Well, from an ibs point of view I have to avoid bread, garlic, onions and aloe drinks (definitely not nice effects) and fizzy drinks too. Alcohol definitely makes the pain worse for a couple of days afterwards so that's a rarity, as mostly I'd prefer less pain! The pain clinic told me to drink soups most days as this is the easiest way for a compromised system to take in nutrients and also to try to eat a more traditional Chinese style diet, I.e. Lightly cooked meat, fish and mixed veg and stir fries. I hope this is helpful.
