Members shared their daily beverage choices while managing fibromyalgia, with water being the universal favorite alongside morning coffee, though several noted that caffeine can trigger heartburn or worsen IBS symptoms. Many members emphasized avoiding sugary drinks due to their inflammatory effects and instead turned to herbal teas like green tea, peppermint, and lavender, with some adding variety through infused waters with cucumber and lemon or green smoothies made with a NutriBullet. A recurring theme was finding a personal balance between staying hydrated, managing symptoms, and allowing occasional treats like lattes or wine without guilt.

I drink strong coffee in the morning; two cups- then water all day; I also drink a lot of water. I enjoy soda water too, and strong cups of tea. I love herbal teas, such as green, peppermint (supposed to be good if you're feeling sore) and night time, I am quite attached to what I call my 'bedtime' tea - lavender, oat flower and lime flower) - although I do stagger this, it's not all in one day haha

I stay away from sugary drinks as sugar causes inflammation. I drink tea & water most of the time. I like a cup of coffee in the morning but it gives me heartburn

@A MyFibroTeam Member. The infused water is a great idea. On the rare occasions, I get my hair done they serve cucumber and Lemon infused waters. It is refreshing. Thanks for the reminder. :-)

I love my coffee, it doesn't keep me awake or anything like that. I drink coffee day and night...otherwise, I also drink green tea, and I like filtered water with siced cucumbers and lemons in it. Very refreshing on hot days.
