Hello everyone,

I've another meducation question I'm wanting to ask advice on. My Psych needs to get me off Endep which is meant to help with Fibro & my depression but it's having the opposite affect. I'm now on Targin for the pain from my Rheumotologist however I still need a new antidepressant that I haven't tried before.

My Pysch wants to try me on a brand new one called Brintellix (Vortioxetine). I've read some reviews and one common side effect is sore joints & aches & pains which is… read more

I've taken Wellbutrin and Neurontin both for depression. I developed hives with both of them - allergic to both, so they really didn't help me.

I take cymbalta and find it has helped a lot with pain and depression. I also take endep at night. Without it I can't sleep for more than a couple of hours. I can go to sleep but can't get through the night.

Hi Laurie,

Wellbutrin... That's one I've not heard of or been on. Thank you. I'll discuss with my Pysch tomorrow.

Thanks so much Candice, you're the first person I know of who has been on it. I'm also on Seroquel at night for depression & to help sleep. Pristique was great for me, I loved it, but it metabolised my sodium to dangerous levels (in hospital with swollen brain) so I had to get off it quickly under Dr close supervision. Hence, trying to find a new one. Good to know it doesn't hurt your joints etc. Appreciate your feedback.

I'm actually on Brintellix, we call it Trintellix up here. I'm on 10 mg in the morning and at night for depression (along with seroquel). I didn't notice any muscle or joint pain. It helped with my depression but didn't do much for the fibro. He added Pristiq (for depression and pain) and 4.5 mg naltrexone for pain which helped a lot.
