I have moderate OCD. But I do not attribute it to fibro. Personally, I think we need to be careful what we attribute to fibro. That said, problems are problems no what the cause.
Pick 3-4 things to do each day and do what you can in the am, take a nap, and do the other 2.
I vacuum and do dishes in the morning, sleep or not I will lay down for about 2 hrs and relax, it is a must for me as I also have bone spurs in my neck that are pushing on my root nerve this causes severe pain up my head and out through my rt eye. If I don't lay down and relax I will be in terrible pain for the rest of the night.
If I can I add another chore like yesterday I dusted and today I mopped. If I only do half the dishes then I have learned that it is okay. I am ocd so it is hard to let go and leave something half finished. I used to be able to get it all done and work a ten hour day, over the last 15 yrs I have almost accepted that my body is 70ish and I am still trying to be 35. I can't take a shower and dry my hair today without resting, and never mind the make up I just don't have the energy.
To help sleep I take melatonin, my doc isn't giving me any thing for sleep.
Luck and hugs for your success.
