Hi!! Can u guys tell me what kind of doctor is best for fibro treatment? My gp referred me to a pain management Doctor, who treat fibro patients!! I'm wondering if he is the best doc for me!! He kept me &on the same medicines my gp prescribed ( cymbalta, gabapentin & tramadol)

I would say a neurologist and rheumatologist together might be a good combo. Also try to get a good GP for those in between times.
Neurologist is the best person to see for pain management.
Honestly I would look for another pain management dr !!!! Mine put me on gapepentin, MS Contin extended release and MS Contin immediate release and when I tell him it's not working he ups the extended release it helps a little but at least he tries to do something
Some gp are qualified to treat fibromyalgia.... So u might be ok with your's!! Mine was not so she instantly sent me to a specialist when she 1st recognized all my symptoms!! I've been told I need to see a neurologist or a rheumatologist!! So I was wondering if I was even with the right specialist!!
I only go to my GP but am wanting to look into a pain management specialist. I don't know how to get a referral without offending my GP though.
