What painkillers are people on and what do they find affective? Codiene and tramadol seem to have no effect whatsoever on me and I don't know what other options are available. For those who are or have been on tramadol, what dose were you on?

Members shared a wide range of pain management approaches for fibromyalgia, with Norco (hydrocodone) emerging as one of the most commonly mentioned medications, alongside gabapentin, Flexeril, fentanyl patches, and diclofenac, while tramadol received mixed reviews with some finding it ineffective or concerning. Several members emphasized the importance of finding a compassionate doctor willing to prescribe adequate pain relief, with one member suggesting seeking an internal medicine specialist over a general practitioner, and many expressed frustration when physicians refused to prescribe necessary medications. A recurring theme was the deeply personal decision to prioritize quality of life and the ability to care for family over concerns about long-term medication use, with members encouraging each other to advocate fiercely for pain management that allows them to function rather than suffer in bed.

I don't take Tramadol I've heard too many things about it and how it makes you feel really bad but that depends on the person myself I'm actually on Norco 10 325 and I am NOT on anything else because I'm allergic to all the other medicines for Fibro. They say it's bad to take norcos for a long. Of time but I rather have a quality of life with my family of my children and husband then be in bed and can't move crying in agony and pain so that's the way I look at it

Hemp oil is wonderful but it is pricey. It did wonders for me but I have to stop for now because of the cost. Now that I have stopped I realize how wonderful it was.
