I was diagnosed with Fibro in Sept and I guess I'm still trying to make sure that's really what this is!!
When my doc talks about "pain" I'm not sure if it's the same pain I'm feeling. I think of pain as in a broken bone, child birth, etc. My pain is waking up with achiness all over, stiff/throbbing hands, feet, knees... Feels like the flu. Then during the day my neck gets very stiff and it is painful to touch my chin to my chest.

Yes! Aches, throbbing, stabbing, stinging numbness....moves around your body and some days your entire body, muscles and also feels like your joints.
More of an "ache" than pain for me.
sounds like fibro pain to me!! that's how i experience at well
I think fibro pain in different than pain from a broken bone. Broken bones or bone on bone in a joint to me is a very sharp pain.while fibro pain is very diffuse and more of a continual achy type of pain. That is the way I feel it so others might experience something different.
I have found as I have gotten older, for me these aches, pains, reactions to chemicals and smells, the flu feeling ...it all gets worse and never lets up. It is exhausting and stress will make it even worse.
