There is a piercing of the ear that has its backgrounds rooted in acupuncture and it it has been proven to help get rid of migraines in case studies and even in fibro heads. It's called a Daith piercing and it's through a part of the inner part of the ear.
It is documented so you google it. No harsh chemicals taken, no drinks no tablets or anything like that just massage this piercing. Please take a look xx

I know this may sound weird but I use frankincense essential oil when I get one, seems to work.

It doesn't exactly get rid of the migraine but helps significantly-

I have a water vaporizer thing that I got off of amazon that I will put some peppermint oil in. They say that the smell of peppermint can help headaches.

I have learned from seeing the neurologist that before you find the right treatment it is important to distinguish between a headache and migraine. This site has really good information on how to tell what type of headache it is and the best way to get rid of it:

Wish your friend luck!

No. I do not believe there is a natural way. I have had migraines for years and I have not find one. She could try extra strength excedrin and a mountain dew. Sometimes the overload of caffiene will stop it. But that is as close as I can get to helping you.
