Members overwhelmingly confirmed that Epsom salt baths can provide temporary relief from fibromyalgia pain, with many adding lavender oil or essential oils to enhance relaxation and make soaking a calming bedtime ritual. Several members shared practical strategies like soaking for 20 to 30 minutes during flares, trying magnesium flakes or magnesium oil as alternatives, and using Epsom salt lotion for targeted areas like achy hands. A recurring theme was that results vary from person to person, with some feeling significant relief and others unsure whether it truly helps or acts as a placebo, but most agreed that taking time to unwind in a hot bath is a comforting self-care practice worth trying.

I've heard positive things about them, and know they're good for helping relieve pains in arthritis. I keep meaning to get some and try for myself..but forget!! x

I have Epsom Salt baths and they are fantastic for relief for a while afterward, good to have before going to bed. I have just bought some Magnesium flakes, which are apparently different and better. Haven't tried it yet as it's too damn hot!!!
