What's a with the spoons?

It was an analogy to describe fatigue with Lupus that was adopted by people with other illnesses. It doesn't have to be spoons, it was just a way to visually explain how everything we do uses precious energy that we can't always get back and that we don't always know how much we'll have until we start the day. That it's a limited and valuable commodity, not a renewable source. Hope that helps!

Dee...wow! I went to the link you posted and I have not stopped crying. I am not sure why I am crying, sadness, relief, self pity, compassion, all of the above? These articles helped me realize that other people are struggling with EXACTLY the same struggles as I am going through. I am not alone...for the first time since my onset of fibromyalgia and its thanks to you...
