I have pain in my feet and the doctors dont know why. Do any of you have unexplained foot pain and if so what helps?
@MyFibroTeam users... . I can only wear tennis shoes with memory foam. I don't even try to wear anything else. I damaged my left Achilles tendon. Foot Dr says once it's damaged, there is nothing that can be done. It's bad enough all the other pain I have, but with my feet hurting the way they do, it makes me walk funny and then my hips and legs hurt worse. I have always been strong. Never one to run to the dr. But now, I just want to curl up and cry. I don't know what to do anymore.
Have pain and numbness in my feet on a daily basis...of course you would think staying off of them would help, but only a little. Try soaking them in a large bowl of water as hot as you can handle it and 2cups of Epsom salts 😉 it WILL give you some relief
I just want to reach out to every one of you and give you all a big hug. Three years ago I had foot pain so severe I too couldn't walk. I had a cane a walker and a wheel chair. I don't take pain meds cuz the doctors overdosed me on them. Now I smoke and eat marijuana and have found that I don't hurt near as bad.I also went to a sight called: fibromyalgia soup. It works wonders! Now my walker and my wheel chair are in storage. Don't get me wrong. I still have pain but not so severe anymore. I hope this helps some of you. Have a good day.
@A MyFibroTeam Member. Another natural remedy is Magnesium 400 or 500mg at bedtime. I noticed a difference in about a week. I learned about it on the Invisible Disabilities site. I ran out and just didn't think I really needed it, I was wrong. At this point, it doesn't stop my pain, it prevents new pain.
Hi everyone. There is a Morton Epsom's Salt Lotion. It is $5.97 at our Wal-Mart. It is sold right beside the bags of Epsom salt. It is an amazing product. If you can't soak a body part in regular Epsom salt, use this. I used to use it all the time, but now nothing helps. I use Aspercreme w/5%lidocaine, an ointment of 5% lidocaine, a blue gel that's cold. Anything I can find that is topical for pain relief. Nothing helps now. My toes went numb, then my feet when I was still working. Now the numbness is up to my knees. It has started in my hands, left arm and left side of my face. But back to feet, when they hurt, I'm just miserable. And since it's a constant pain, I have no quality of life.
