I currently take cymbalta and lyrica for my fibro but my ex husband (whose advice I don't greatly trust) said that probably won't be enough for the pain and that I should get medical marijua. Does anyone here have experience or opinions on this?

I have been smoking marijuana and medical marijuana for about 40 years for pain and anxiety. Before diagnosis it was all I knew about for pain as I can't take anti depressants so that leaves many options out for me. Because I smokes/vaped for so long I haven't gotten high in years but it helps with my pain, I cant afford CBD or I would use that instead. I am taking Nabilone(synthetic pot) no THC and works for my pain really well. Prescription from your doctor.

Yes, it can be easily added to food. In the USA we call these "edibles". I have a friend who makes very satisfying gummy bears. Again, THC content can be very low to nonexistent and still provide wonderful and effective pain relief.

It is an excellent pain reliever. Best of all you don't have to use the 'traditional ' pot that we have all grown up with. Cannabis is the ingredient that provides pain relief and relaxation of nerves, we do not need the THC which is the psychotropic ingredient. Cannabis, or cannabinoid oil, is what we need. And CBD oil is now LEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES. It can be vaped, dropped under the tongue or baked in to edibles. Please research the availability in your area; I came across it at a kiosk in the mall. Also check local herbalists and online sources. Spread the word and promote full legalization so that we can all easily access the relief we deserve.

I don't have an answer to that due to the fact that fibromyalgia is so individualized . what works for one may not work for others.
