The past 4 days my finger tips hurt. You know the feeling when you touch metal outside when it's bitter cold out, it's so cold it hurts and "burns"?? It was my right middle finger and right ring finger the 1st 3 days but today it's also my pointer finger. I'm frustrated it started Tuesday and of course I saw my RA/fibro dr a mear 4 days prior. Anyone know what's going on/or if there is anything I can do to alleviate the symptoms? Thank you in advance
Try taking baby aspirin. According to my doctor, and the nurses that I used to work with - everyone should take a baby aspirin. It could be just a circulation issue. That's what I was told - Raynaud's Phenomenon. It sucks and it's still there but not as badly.
All of the above are good canidates...I have in the past month started with the pins and needles in my feet and hands..since fm is connected to our nerve endings it very well could be caused from it....if it's bothersome or has gotten worse contact your dr....
Good luck.
I have neuropathy. I believe it started as a side effect from a medication. My fingers and feet tingle and hurt. My arms are also effected at night. If I stand still for any length of time my feet and legs are effected.
I have the same thing in my left foot . I hate it , much worse in the winter. I have some nerve damage in my leg . I Was going to take to my dr again about it seems worse this year . I had a nerve test that showed it . Hope you get better !
I haven't had a nerve conduction test done but I may be asking for one. I am going to call my dr on Monday see if they can get me in again
