I was just prescribed Plaquenil and I would like to know if somebody else has had success with it in preventing or lessesing the intensity of fibro flare ups.

Years o I was diagnosed with lupus and sjogrens syndrome, so my rheumatologist prescribed plaquenil.. I took this medicine for a few years. This medicine can cause eye damage. After going to several other doctors. I was told that I was misdiagnosed. I've already had three eye surgeries since 2013 and I truly don't know if there is a connection.

Thank you Alma. I will do that. So far I feel great, the stiffness is not as bad. But maybe its a placebo effect cause I've only been on the drug for a couple of weeks.
