Here in saskatchewan canada you can't get to a specialist unless you get a referral from your doctor. So I'm hitting a brick wall. So far I can't find a doctor who believes fibro is real . I would love to find a doctor who has fibro. Then I'm sure the reality of it would hit them.
I went to rheumatologist Dr Fahlman ( it took 25 months waiting list) she confirmed what my GP was suspicious of: fibromyalgia. I was given an increase in my night time medication and sent on my way. I would like to find a professional too. I was diagnosed two years ago by my doctor who referred me to Dr Fahlman. I guess I would like to find a pain clinic that specializes in Fibro. I don't know if there is anything available in Regina specifically for Fibro but I was thinking of looking for a pain clinic as they might help.
