I tape my shoulders and it helps with neck and shoulder pain.
Wrist braces for carpal tunnel syndrome and it works! Mine have a metal (bone) running down the inside where your wrist is. It keeps it rigid while you sleep and my fingers don't tingle and go numb like when your foot falls asleep. Never had leg braces but the wrist ones I can vouch for, they are a real pain saver for me.
I wear wrist braces every night to bed. My Hand were feeling like they we falling asleep and i was experiencing wrist pain. I've worn them for over a year now and they do help me. My hands don't get that tingling feeling while sleeping anymore and my wrist only hurt if I've over worked myself. I have a hard time sleeping without them now I've gotten so use to wearing them
I wear arm splints and wrist braces sometimes, in not sure if they help or not, I was given them when I was misdiagnosed with arthritis.
Go with whatever works for you. Have you tried a sleeping brace? I have one for my left hand/wrist. They take a bit of getting used to but if I wear it I have more movement and less pain the next day.
