How Difficult Has It Been Trying To Get Pregnant With Fibromyalgia?

For women looking to start a family or have had experience getting pregnant or going through pregnancy what are your thoughts? What additional changes did you have to make in your life on top of wanting to get pregnant or becoming pregnant?

I didn't believe that I could get pregnant because of all the medication I was on, but surprise surprise. It can happen to anyone I think.

Got pregnant with my last child after I started experiencing fibro symptoms. Had to go off meds for obvious reasons (could hurt infant). Made it hard for awhile. At five months I felt better then I have felt in a long time. Two weeks after baby was born fibro came back. Makes me think that hormones have a definite affect on fibro symptoms. Didn't have any problem getting pregnant. Biggest problem was it was unexpected so I was worried that I didn't stop the meds early enough but baby, now 30, is just fine.

I've had 3 children, would like to have had more but the pain was unbearable. my doctor suggested against it.

Interesting question! I'm curious too, although I'm not going to be going through this quite yet.
