I don't mean to sound hateful or harsh....Sweetie you are gonna have to push yourself to do a little activity or you are gonna have atrophy. Start out slow walk to the mail box. Please don't Fibromyalgia win. I have had it for 12 yrs and it has changed me so very much, and sometimes I do give into it. We have to move a little each day....really this is coming out of love. I am here if you need to talk.
Are u on any meds? I do have more bad days than good but even on the bad days I do move around cause if I don't I feel even worse the next day. Hot shower and hot tub are my best friend on those real bad days. While I am in the hot tub and my body is warmed up from the heat I do stretches and it makes me feel so much better.
I too hurt terribly everyday...( et some days where I cannot do anything pain), but I force myself to shower, dress, et try et do a load or two of laundry a day. Gotta get up et move as much as you can no matter how much pain you have. Like ANimmo stated you will atrophy et then you will really be in a world of hurt:( stay strong et don't let fibro win. God bless et many hugs sent your way.
When I say I am having a 'good' day that doesn't mean I am having a day like I had before fibro. I never have those days anymore. When I say it is a 'good' day, it is a relative term. Some days are horrible, some days are not so horrible, and some days are 'good' compared to the horrible days. I do not expect ever to have a normal day if I define normal by what my life was like 20 years ago. Life with fibro is my new normal. 'sigh'
Lol ...Spilledpills..cute name..I don't think any one on here..now I may be wrong..have pain free days. Its just that some days are better than others. Usually a good day is when ..ok ..I can walk ..still hurts like heck ,but not as bad as yesterday...The less painful days are when things get done..as apposed to cant get outta bed I'm in so much pain...Maybe its a mindset too..if I am determined I have to do this and make myself move..it actually does help. You probably hear people say to exercise ...it really does help..it takes a lot of determination at first..but then ..hey ..you realize you are feeling a little better..even a "bit" better helps....Sooo there is nothing wrong with you or should I say we are all in the same boat. Some have more tolerance than others but yep..we all suffer!
