I don't know yet. My eldest sons have been researching non-pharma approaches to fibro. They came up with it. I spoke with my doc & she said it had antidotal positives. She sent me to "Charlotte's Web" website. I've ordered some & we will see. I'd love to at least decrease some of the pharmacy-based drugs, if not discontinue them. I'll keep you posted!

The CBD oil is helping me. Pain reduced. Fatigue still with me, but lessened.

Hi everyone. I have been doing a lot of research on this and wanted to share. CBD Hemp Oil is not the same thing as Cannabis oil or Marijuana oil or Hemp Oil you find at the grocery store (from seeds). CBD Hemp oil comes from the stalks of the hemp plants, is very high in cannabinoids (the CBD that many have said is helping them and is 100% legal where ever you are) and has practically no THC (the chemical that makes you feel "high" and is only legal in some states).
You can get it in drops, eddibles, vape oil, capsules, topical skin creams, tinctures, etc.
This link had some easy-to-understand info at this link below about the differences between all the different oils made from cannabis, hemp, marijuana, and it's seeds and stalks.

And I personally found the info at the link below on this shops FAQ page incredibly helpful. The info they share is partially specific to their brand and quality control practices but much of the info can also be applied to CBD concentrate oils in general. This was a huge help to me in figuring out the differences between the types, milligrams, dosage info, concentration levels, etc.

I bought some CBD vaping oil and am excited for it's arrival in the mail.
My goal is to feel better, be more functional, and eliminate as many prescription drugs as possible.

Taking a CBD tincture in grape seed oil - working well for sleep issues. Apparently available in capsules as well but I don't do well with gel capsules due to digestion issues. I'm now only on CBD & don't use anything else. Experimenting with daily use is next to try in order to reduce pain levels.

I purchased mine through a recommendation from Realm of caring . Go ahead google. it. I asked many of my friends in the nursing and pharmaceutical field their thoughts. I was so hesitant. To me , it seems that fibro treatments can be a get rich off the desperate scheme. But after hearing how a friend's son was helped by CBD oil for seizures, I felt compelled to give it a go. I ordered CW or Charlotte's web. And I got the tiniest dosage available. The first time I took it did NOTHING. I was so very disappointed. Though I was in a pretty bad flare. I tried again this past weekend , to see if it helped the fatigue at all, the annoying pain I get in my upper arms and fleshy parts of my elbows.
I forgot I took it ..LOL...and proceeded to clean my house. Ha. no issues, no repercussions.
Now mind you, The only supplement I take is a melatonin 3mg at bedtime. Massage monthly, and cranial sacral every 6 weeks. Norflex as needed.
Depending on where you are at, this may or may not work for you.
