A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone stopped taking Tramadol, and if so did they experience withdrawal symptoms?

Thanks for all the input. I decided not t stop taking it after all. I need to take something, and don't seem to get any bad side effects from Tramadol. It only takes the edge off the pain but better than nothing, and also better than feeling dizzy!

I use to get tramadol injection and the work really well ! But no relief from the pill . I don't no of any withdrawal s but I think if you can leave a message with your doctor thru the nurse for his advice is the best thing to do.

I've tried so many pain meds so far and now I'm on oxycodone/acedeminaphin for pain every 4 hours and that doesn't seem to be working to great.. I used tramadol at one time and had to get off cause of stomach .. Withdrawals were stomach cramps , took a few day to clear up......

I don't take it but take other pain meds and I would never stop taking them cold turkey. I would go in to such severe withdrawal. I would gradually cut down. It can be very dangerous to stop taking some medications cold turkey. Even if it's for nothing else but your physical comfort I would ask your doctor for a schedule on how to reduce slowly.
