I take it sometimes, together with ibuprofen. But I rather taker a muscle relaxer with tylenol (Robaxet). Sometimes I need two T3 and one robaxet extra strength. It depends on the type of pain and the intensity, I guess.
I agree with you. that's what I do. I keep alternating them and making combinations of tylenol and naproxen or tylenol with codeine and ibuprofen, etc. Normally they work. Some days I have to take a lot, some days I don't need anything.
I can't take iboprofen at all, causes tummy problems and almost immediate short term memory loss. I do have naprosyn, and I try to alternate between the tylenol with codeine, regular tylenol, and the naprosyn, cause I don't want to get to where any of them don't work anymore.
Only for flare ups, because the constipation is horrible and after a couple of doses in a row it doesn't seem effective anymore for me. I've found a nightly muscle relaxer plus as needed for flare ups and adding T3 when that isn't enough can help, but that is only a few days out of the month.
Any narcotic you get prescribed (T3,Norco, etc.) all have constipation side effects. Narcs are hard on the system so you will have to eat lotsa fiberous foods with all narcs to prevent.
