Members shared mixed experiences with CPAP machines for managing chronic fatigue, with some reporting significant improvements in sleep quality and daytime energy while others found little to no relief from their exhaustion or pain. Several members explained that CPAP treats sleep apnea by improving oxygen levels during sleep, which can help the body reset and reduce fatigue, with one member noting they finally slept eight hours straight and felt great during the day for the first time. A recurring theme was uncertainty about whether fatigue stems from untreated sleep apnea, fibromyalgia, or another underlying condition, with many members still navigating the process of testing, adjusting to the machine, and managing expectations around improvement.

@A MyFibroTeam Member I took an at home sleep study and when I did sleep at night, like 2-3hours, during the study it said I had mild sleep apnea. I was given a cpap machine and 2 nights I have slept 8 hours this week and feel great during the day. Before I would have to take a nap during the day and I would fall asleep if I was sitting too long in the evening. I feel better pain wise because my dr said I am able to "reset" my nerves at night with regular sleep. I hope this helps someone

@A MyFibroTeam Member for the past week or two I slept all day! From the time I dropped the kids off at came home until it was time to pick them up and then went back to bed around 8pm. I felt like a zombie. Rhuematology says its chronic fatigue and Pulmonary says I need my CPAP machine... I'm lost here and don't know what to believe. I will say that my pain was less while I had all of that time to rest!
