Does anyone take this medication, and if so does it help?

Yes, there are many warnings about Tramadol and Cymbalta which is what I've been prescribed as well. I've heard that the serious side-effects are more common in certain populations, such as middle-aged individuals. It's definitely something to consider.

As for the effectiveness of Tramadol, I think it is one of the better prescription pain medications I've been prescribed. I don't get any of the "high" sort of feelings I get from things like Delaudid but it still takes the edge off of my mild symptoms. OTC painkillers are like sugar pills for me.

Hope this helps!

I am on Tramadol, 50mg. I take it 6 to 8 times a day when the pain is bad. I find it very helpful with few side effects. I take it with 500mg acetaminophen (only twice a day).

Not strong enough for me so I take precocet 10/325 even that does help anymore, my body adapts to medication very fast

I take Tramadol HCL & Acetaminophen only when nothing else helps when pain is persistent and getting out of control and it's a lifesavor! Makes me tired though 😃
