I am not sure this is fibro related, but I have noticed that my hands and feet "fall asleep" extremely easy and cause the painful tingly sensation that takes about 5 minutes to go away. Any suggestions? Or should I bother my Doctor with this? I am a disabled vet and feel like I am always bothering my VA doctor.

Happens to my feet very severly. It's a Fibro symptom. I have restless leg syndrome which causes the burning tingling painful feet. Ask for a med called Gabapentine, it helps me!
I got that in my hands due to carpal tunnel and does happen to my feet which I don't know why except when I had sciatic nerve trouble. I would check for sure with your doctor to rule things out as you never know what it can be. I find the restless legs bothersome but if I take two calcium magnesium pills it helps some.
Yes, I wake up like that often and when I drive it happens and I sometimes have to dangle my hand and shake it to get the blood to it again. Its very annoying.
I get that too and the gabapantene doesn't help me much and I am at the max strength and take 3 pills 3 times a day. Let me know if you find something that helps. I was wondering if the hand pain could be arthritis or if it's fibro. I am from Canada and my doc doesn't seem to know much, but give me meds to try and I don't like that.
Always bother ur doctor that's their job!
