I love "bralettes"! They're often lace and much more comfortable for me! I have found that some have more or less irritating seams though. It still takes some trial and error.

I find that I can no longer wear underwire bras for long periods of time! I found bras with good support and no under wires are working out much better!

easier in winter....thick baggy tops hide a multitude of spare tyres and other lumpy bits . i have some lightly padded cotton strips which go under the bottomof the bra , the straps are still a big problem

I rarely wear bras anymore, but when I need to it is usually a thick strapped (1 1/2 cm) thin padded Balcoin bra. The straps hover over my shoulders and I wear it at the loosest fitting around my ribcage.

I wear those strech pull on bras. Yes not very flattering but... I have a frozen shoulder and struggle to get it on sometimes with help if anyones around. Normal bras drive me crazy and the strat constantly falls off my shoulder and I cant get it back up.
