My doc has asked me to go on a gluten diet and see if it helps my Fibro. Has anyone done this? And has it. Worked?
I'm just afraid I have already damaged taste buds and now I'll have no taste food.

I've been doing low gluten for about 4 months- for ME personally it hasn't helped with the nerve or muscle pain, but it HAS helped the IBS and fibro fog.
I went gluten free for the IBS part of Fibro 3 yrs now. It really has helped a lot.
I tried it and it did nothing for me. I tried it on my own and when I was telling my doctor about it his response was. " You have to try everything and anything since some tings work for some and not for others. As far as your taste buds, mine are fine now, but I know just what you are talking about nasty! But then again I enjoy food so I may not be the right person to answer this. :)
You will be amazed at the foods, pills, drinks etc that contain gluten..
Thats what my doc said to try it for a month and see what happens. Appartly a study came out saying it has help some Fibro people. So he suggested to try it. Especially, since it can't harm me and I may loose a few pounds in the process. lol
