I have gone gluten free because I do actually have a gluten allergery. Non celliac. My body develops an immune response to gluten and I get wide spread inflammation and joint pain. So, I do feel better when I am gluten free. From what I've heard, you actually have to have an allergy or sensitivity for it to help to give it up. There is an ELISA test you can take (blood test ) to see if you are in fact allergic
