Problems With Anitdepressants?
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I googled sensitivity to antidepressants and I seem to have this. One person on the site wondered if it had anything to do with having fibro? I couldn't take wellbutrin due to anxiety reactions, and any others I've tried such as paxil, celexa, cymbalta, etc make me more depressed. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm also having more memory problems and coordination problems. Almost like I'm dyslexic when I type, and my body had begun to jerk out of the blue. I'm currently on NO… read more

@A MyFibroTeam Member My Dr didn't give me any specifics on diet changes. Now I try to cut out as much sugar as possible and constantly annoy my husband for reading all the labels at the grocery store. Admittedly I was eating lots is sweets before I knew how high my blood sugar was. Message me on Facebook about the patches if you can. My Facebook email is [[email: [[email: (Email address can only be seen by the question and answer creators) I think. Kristine Rathbun Hite. Let me know if you can't find me.

I take Cymbalta and went off it a few years back and hated the withdrawal symptoms mostly being depressed. I went back on it at a lower dosage but still deal with a lot of depression. I also take Flexeril which my insurance no longer wants to cover. Use Lidocaine patches which are expensive and my new insurance does not want to pay. Klonopin for anxiety and Opana for pain. Way to many medications since I also take 2 for diabetes. Wish I could just take vitamins but having a hard time making that a reality.

I'm taking SAM-E right now and a brain/mood booster with ginko bilboa in it. I also take fish oil, vitamin D, collagen because I had an injury to my neck and arm and my skin thinned out due to steroids and now bruises and blisters, acidophlius for normal bodily functions (ibs), magnesium for skipping heart beat. Then I take biotin for skin hair and nails because I lose hair when I'm stressed and my scalp gets itchy (?). Melatonin for sleep with zzquil when necessary. The meds I was taking from my Dr zoned me out too much and going off of them was horrendous.
