How are people coping with having fibromyalgia and working how hard has it been for you and what adjustments did you have to make in order to achieve working consistently every day?

Thankfully I have a desk job, so my biggest issue with work is my fibro fog. I just stay in top of my iron, d3 & b12 to help with it.

I worked as a dialysis nurse, 10 hour days bending over patients on cement floors, I also have a few herneated discs. I had to give it up due to the pain and lack of sleep. I now have a job that is less stressful on my body. I will continue to work as long as I am able.

I worked almost full time up to a year ago. Then my body said break time went on short term disability for 6 months. Now I work half the amount of time I was working and is better for me. I have to work cause my husband is retired. We need the income and it's a distraction from the everyday pain and etc. I work in a hospital setting as a nurse, there is really no way to reduce stress except to change hours. Now our finances suffer but we've learned to eat beans, lol!

I work 40 hrs a week for a great company but this year has really been challenging. I began to worry about losing my job because of the duties required and stress. Thankfully my prayers were answered and I have been promoted to another position with less physical activity and stress. The only issue remaining is the fibro fog.
