Mouth Pain
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been having pain inside my mouth along with tongue pain (tongue also feels swollen) and trouble swallowing. Does anyone else have these problems? Is it related to fibro?

Oh I forgot Dry mouth. Be careful and be more aware. The left side of my face went numb about ten years ago. I went for an emergency dentist appointment and had abscess in six teeth. I lost them all. I am now with 14 teeth. My Christmas present is dentures. I am waiting for them to come back from the lab. I have had NO molars to chew with for 20yrs. Take care of your teeth please. I didn't.

If you are taking amitriptaline this causes facial, lip, tongue swelling and brings out fever blisters.

It's possible that you may have an allergy, that you are not, aware of. Or, it could be a reaction if you just started some new medication.
You should see a doctor, particularly due to the swelling of your tongue.
