Members responded to someone experiencing blackouts and collapses, with the overwhelming consensus being that this symptom needs immediate medical evaluation rather than being attributed to fibromyalgia alone. Several members shared their own experiences with similar episodes, including drop attacks since childhood, feeling faint with certain neck movements, and even blacking out while driving, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive testing like ECGs and tilt table tests. A recurring theme was the danger of dismissing serious symptoms by automatically blaming fibromyalgia, with members strongly encouraging medical follow-up and expressing relief when the original poster scheduled an appointment and began undergoing tests.

I suffer from blacking out and drop attacks. Suffered with them on/off since I was about 9. I would say no in my case but your best going to doctors. They should get tests done. You should get an ECG, Tilt Table Test have loads more but can't remember them. Hope this helps x
