Hi. I hope you find something that works for you. I tried parrafin wax. It can help but for me I found the wax was too hot. Even at lowest temperature it bothered my fibro. That is just me. I believe in trying everything. I tried aspercream as it is over the counter. It may help my arthritis pain. Also biofreeze helps some pain. They are inexpensive ways of treatment. It can't hurt to try. I hope you have a pain free day soon

Both hands and all the time. It is especially bad when it's cold and damp out! My hands often feel so stiff that I feel like I can't even bend my fingers!

I never wear rings to bed. My hands can swell at night. Until recently, the rings were too loose in wearing. Then a few nights ago, I could hardly get a ring off. I was getting ready for bed, putting ring in it's holder. Today, I don't have that ring on. It used to make me feel guilty when taking wedding ring off at bedtime. Now, That's the way it is.

Hi Chelsea. I have a lot of painful days with my hands and this has been going on for many years. But I have arthritis in my hands too. Here are some suggestions made to me: hot wax (I know it sounds evil) but if you ever went to the nail salon and they had you dip your hands in hot wax, then they put a plastic glove over each hand, then they put your hand in a heating pad. I bought the hot wax and machine. I find that I am too sensitive to the high temperature of the heated wax. It feels too hot to me while other people use it and it's fine for them. So that didn't work for me. Another is to buy "arthritis gloves" which are gloves with finger tips cut out that you wear at night. They are supposed to help circulation. I never noticed a difference. I have had steroid shots directly I to the inflamed joint. That helped. While in a hot shower, I hold my hands in the running water. That helps me. Good luck and I hope you have a painfree day soon.
