I am having small muscle twitches that do not go away. They are in a place "down under". kinda embarrassed to admit that. It is driving me out of my mind. if it does not go away i suppose i will have to have another Doctor tell me that i am crazy. Does anyone else have this problem with involuntary twitching?

Members warmly reassured someone experiencing embarrassing muscle twitches that this is a common fibromyalgia symptom, with many sharing they experience twitches in various body parts including eyes, arms, legs, and torso, often when lying down or sitting still. Several members offered practical strategies that have helped them, including increasing vitamin D intake (as deficiency is common in fibro), staying hydrated, taking warm baths, using weights to stabilize limbs, and changing positions frequently. A recurring theme was the relief of knowing they weren't alone or crazy, with members emphasizing the importance of having doctors who believe them and the strength found in a community that truly understands.

I get them all over. Shoulders, flanks, arms, legs, toes.... More so when I'm sitting or lying still. I was having an MRI yesterday and could feel it. I had a doc who thought it was electrolytes or potassium but my levels are good. Don't forget to hydrate- but really I've just learned to live with it.
