Sunday night my right heel started hurting for some unknown reason, not sure if it's fibro related or not every time I touch it it feels like I'm being stabbed. I did talk to my Dr about it and if it still hurts by next week he's sending me to orthopedics. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

yes I agree, its probably fibro, so unfortunately patience is something that you need to get used to, sorry to be harsh !! Good days and bad days are something that we have to get used to. It is best to always get things checked out by the docs as it can be something else, but generally we have pain in our bodies from head to toe, and it can be for 5 mins to weeks.
I actually have had this issue. It could be a bone spur.
Yes, I did had the same symptoms on my left heel 3 months ago my doctor told me to try not to used flat shoes. I did change my shoes and I fell much better.
I had pain in my foot including my heel for 6 months or so, it was agony to put any weight on it at all and was one of the reasons i lost my job. The pain went away by itself but returns every so often just to say hi. Ask your doctor just in case it is something else but if it is fibro then patience is the only way to go.
I hope this helps you in some way
I went through that for about 6 months....my Dr. thought that I had a nerve issue, so she left it.....it just went away on its own. I found that I seem to have a new, weird painful area every few months and these new sites usually hurt for a good 6 months or more and then go away just as quickly as they start.
