I filed and had to get n attorney because they deny it on fibromyalgia. i have other issues and my attorney is good for winning with fibro as a reason. Do you have depression that is being treated? do you have any other conditions as well? usually there are other issues along with Fibro. Make sure you have all meds and doctors and dates you have seen them and what has this issue caused you to stop? has it stopped you from doing any hobbies? what has it stopped you from doing? does it interrupt your sleep? I started with Fibro and Chronic pain, which was OA and RA plus i was depressed but not on meds. the psychiatrist said once we got the pain controlled my depression would go away. It has for the most part. Still having pain that meds don't help with. Pain specialist wants to cut back on meds but at this point he hasn't been able to gt rid of the pain all the way.

I'm currently on disability it took one denial on my own, then got a ss lawyer and it took some time but she got it to go through for me. I received a retro check as well as monthly checks.

Thank you all . I just recently filed with a lawyer last week. Had a full time career for 15 years, had to quit due to FM symptoms keeping me from all the travel, professional requirements and cognitive issues dealing with public. Haven't been able to stay at a full time job since. Have had serious issues with standing, walking, sitting as well as forgetting, staying on task and unable to remember stuff. Hopefully being diagnosed by a primary physician is good enough. Haven't seen a specialist - should I?

I limit red meat as much as poss. No pork/no eggplant/no green peppers/no nutrasweet. Serms to help me alot. Super Hot baths with lavendar epsom salt (walmart carries) & antiinflammatories a must. Good Luck!
