Temperature Problem
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone have an issue with temperatures? I love my heating pad and blanket but when it comes to a shower or bath I can't handle the heat. Luke warm is all I can handle.

Same here. Heating pad and blankets. Hot then cold. I'll break out in a sweat sitting still. Not to hot of a shower or it hurts. UGH!!!

I can no longer regulate my body temperature. I can feel really cold one minute and I'm literally sweating so bad and in places I didn't know I could sweat such as my legs, eye lids!! My head starts dripping as if someone just turns a tap on over my head. Not a good look for a lady!! I hate it and am very conscious about it too. My husband tells me I'm the only person who can wear a vest top in winter n he's right.
But if I'm cold nothing warms me up really bizarre. I used to live piping hot showers to the extreme my skin would go red bow it's s luck warm bath/shower n no soon am I out I sweat and can't regulate my temp for st least an hour.
Hate it hate it hate it!!!!

YES!!! cold weather makes me hurt everywhere, getting to hot brings on the pain too. there are some 32 degree thermals at costco that claim to regulate body temp. I'm wearing one now and it's helping. 6.99 for a shirt

Yes...my internal thermostat has been broken for years. I'm very sensitive to temperature changes. Like you I do well with heating pads and blankets or even a bath...but a shower feels like thousands of needles hitting my skin.
