Members responded to someone experiencing twitching with fibromyalgia by sharing a wide range of potential causes and practical remedies that have helped them personally. Several members found relief through magnesium supplements (particularly magnesium taurate), muscle relaxers like clonazepam, checking vitamin levels through blood tests, and addressing low blood sugar with protein-rich foods like cheese and eggs. A recurring theme was that twitching can stem from multiple sources including nerve issues, vitamin deficiencies, medication side effects, or device use, with members encouraging the original poster to explore these possibilities with their doctor while trying different approaches to see what works best for their body.

Hmmm, no clonazapam for that, I'd say. I type a lot and my hands start hurting and shaking, which is of course different. Probably a nerve issue, could also come with nerve fatigue? For mine a neuro had me wear a wrist brace, like for carpal tunnel, at night and during the day as needed. It helped.

When I use my kindle or home computer my left hand twitches and shakes. Try one of those wrist weights. Sometimes it helps.

A lot of fibro women have hypoglycemia and that can cause shaking when your blood sugar drops. If you start to shake try eating cheese and/or eggs and see if this helps.
For twitching, Magnesium Taurate has helped me. You could also take Magnesium Citrate if you have constipation at all and this helps with that and the twitching. I take the Magnesium Taurate every day and the citrate as needed for constipation. My muscle twitching has decreased 70% after this. Good luck

I start twitching when I am low on vitamins. Go to Dr and ask for a blood test to see if you are low.
