Members explored the possible connection between PCOS and fibromyalgia, with several sharing that they developed fibro after being diagnosed with PCOS or having their ovaries removed, suggesting a potential hormonal or surgical link. Several members also mentioned having endometriosis alongside fibromyalgia, with one member crediting the Mirena coil as life-changing for managing endometriosis symptoms over nearly 20 years, though others noted that laparoscopic surgery often provides only temporary relief. A recurring theme was the overlap of chronic conditions in women's health and the long, frustrating journey many face in getting accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.

When the hospital finally diagnosed endometriosis after years of hell, only took them 5/6 years of this and that test. I had the laparoscopic finally and that's when it was discovered. And I had the Marina coil fitted. And from that day almost 20 years ago and 5 coil later I got my life back.
