Members connected over the shared struggle of worsening night vision, with many describing sensitivity to bright headlights, blurred or merging lights, and difficulty seeing road signs, though most were uncertain whether it was directly related to fibromyalgia or factors like aging, medications, or other eye conditions. Several members shared practical strategies including wearing prescription glasses specifically for night driving, avoiding nighttime driving altogether especially in rain, staying in well-lit areas, and consulting with optometrists to rule out conditions like cataracts or glaucoma. A recurring theme was the relief of knowing they weren't alone in this frightening experience, along with curiosity about whether fibromyalgia, the medications used to treat it, or simply the natural aging process might be contributing factors.

I've had problems with night vision for years. I never connected it with fibro, although I'm finding out a lot of things are connected to it.

Definitely think it's fibro related! I'm 24 and no issues with sight at all except for when I'm driving at night. All the lights like merge together so everything's bright and blurry!

Thank you all.

It is like everything is too bright and I'm having bad time to see the road and signs.

I'll talk about it to my optometrist.
