Members shared a wide range of vitamins and supplements they have found helpful for managing fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis pain, with vitamin D emerging as the most frequently mentioned recommendation, especially for those with low levels who experience increased pain, fatigue, and depression. Several members described specific supplement routines that work for them, including turmeric or curcumin for inflammation, magnesium for sleep and muscle cramps, CoQ10 for energy, vitamin B complex for various symptoms, and Epsom salt baths for pain relief. A recurring theme was the importance of getting vitamin D levels tested by a doctor to determine the right dosage and experimenting with different combinations to find what works best for individual symptoms.

CQ10 is important in Fibro, as it completes the energy cycle in your cells, and therefore combats the fatigue.

I found that Curcumin by Solgar really helped me. I was taking a quadruple dose, though. Curcumin is the active ingredient in tumeric, and it helps with inflammation. Soaking in Epsom salts before bed helps immensely too.

I take meloxicam for OA. I take turmeric for anti inflammatory. I take many antioxidants.

Vitamin D is good, they say if your low in vit D you experience pain more. Epsom salts are also food for a soak in the bath.

Vitamin B complex is a good fallback. It depends on what symptoms you have. Find the one that is meant to treat what issues you are having. I believe soaking in Epson salts helps too.
